Our headcoach Jeannette

I would like to introduce myself                                                               545192_418244044952265_1374963709_n[1]

My name is Jeannette Sterner
I was born and raised in Germany and started with the age of 3 with vaulting. When I turned 6, I started with riding lessons.
In Germany I obtained my entire training and schooling. During this time, I had the opportunity to ride under Grand Prix riders and mentors such as: Helen Langenhanenberg (2012 Olympic Dressage Team Silver medalist), Ingrid Klimke (2008 & 2012 Olympic Eventing Team Gold medalist), Lars Meyer zu Bexten (German National Show Jumping Team coach) as well as Sabine Becker and Claudia Graff.

I am a dressage and jumping coach and have over 30 years of experience in riding horses, from which I spent 15 years as a professional trainer. I have ridden and up to Prix St. George classes and showed jumping classes up to 1.45 as well.

I emphasize the fundamental importance of a proper seat, and the influence and effects this has on the horse, which I have extensively studied through the internationally acclaimed teachings of professor, author, and clinician Eckard Meyners. Additionally, I am a qualified equine physiotherapist in Germany, allowing me to promote not only the development, but also the health of horse and rider.
“The greatest happiness on earth is sitting on the back of a horse!” that’s how I see it…
